What to Expect on Your First Visit

Welcome to Ash Lane United Methodist Church! When you come to Ash Lane UMC, you will be welcomed into a community of people that are seeking to follow Jesus a bit better today than yesterday. Here is what you can expect:

Worship

Our worship services are best categorized as casual traditional. Worship includes choral and hymnal singing, reciting a creed and praying the Lord's prayer together, all in a casual atmosphere.  Join us  in our sanctuary on Sundays at 8:30 a.m. or 11:00am. You may, also, join us for our online worship on Sundays at 10:30 a.m. on YouTube. (The link is available on our Ash Lane Facebook page.)

Children and Youth

Between services we have children's Sunday school for ages 3 and up. Our Youth group for grades 6-12 meet in the Youth space between services and also Sunday evenings for fellowship and a meal.

Nursery

We have a nursery available for children who are newborn up to 4 years old during both worship services. Our nursery workers are loving, compassionate, and Ministry Safe trained. That said, we also have a family environment that loves to have children in worship. We know that children learn a great deal from being in the service with us and we encourage families to choose what is most comfortable for them.

Small Groups

We have several small groups that meet regularly on Sunday mornings between worship, and during the week for social gatherings, mission opportunities, and bible studies.  When you visit, come to the information desk and ask about our different small groups.
