ROOTED Student Ministry

A place to BELIEVE. BELONG. BE LOVED. BE ACCEPTED.

ROOTED is a place where 6th–12th grade students can be themselves, build friendships, ask questions, grow in faith, and know they are loved.

ROOTED am | Sundays, 9:45–10:45 AM

We dig into the Bible, explore what it means, and discover how faith connects to real life.

ROOTED pm | Sundays, 6:00–8:00 PM

Come hang out! We’ve got snacks, games, and small-group conversations where students can connect, have fun, and build friendships that go beyond Sunday nights.

EVENTS

ROOTED is about more than Sundays! Students have plenty of opportunities to have fun, serve others, and make memories together through mission trips, tailgates, multi-church youth events, holiday celebrations, back-to-school activities, wet & wild games, competitions, and more.

EVERYONE HAS A PLACE HERE

Students come from different ages, races, orientations, backgrounds, and experiences—and that’s what makes our community stronger. ROOTED is a place where everyone is welcome, everyone matters, and everyone has a place to belong.

The middle and high school years can be some of the most exciting—and challenging—years of life. At Ash Lane UMC, we want to walk alongside students and their families through all of it, offering a community where they can grow, have fun, ask questions, and know they are never alone.

All staff and volunteers have completed our rigorous MinistrySafe process to safeguard your student's welfare.
